Them: You took 8 years off to be a stay-at-home-mom?

Me: 🙄… 👇

No, it was actually an 8-year masterclass in Human Psychology & Scaling Systems.

To be honest with you, I lasted one year as a full-time SAHM.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids. But I am also super bored being with them 24/7. Please tell me that I’m not the only one?

So, in 2020, when my son was just 1 year old, I started a side-hustle of making websites for therapists while raising him, giving birth to my second child – a beautiful daughter, fortifying my marriage – because let’s me honest, marriage is hard freaking work, and managing it all.

It was not a “slow cooker” life but a “pressure cooker” life – filled with fast & hot and steamy lessons (not that kind) about systems, structure, and processes.

When you build your own boutique agency from the ground up, you are the Chief Engineer.

Over the last 8 years, I didn’t just “freelance.” I built an offer suite for standard work.

I didn’t just “talk to clients”; I implemented world-class standards for inquiry calls, streamlined on-boarding, delivery, and off-boarding.

I didn’t just “manage projects”; I Kaizen-ed my own workflows until they were bulletproof.

I’m one of those stubborn people who need to prove it to themselves that they can do the thing.

Well, after doing it, I had to be brutally honest with myself about what I really love.

I love business. It fascinates me.

Not just any kind, but big business too.

That’s why I work with experts with decades of experience.

Because I know that when I make a change in how they work, the ripple effect will be huge – because their personal impact is huge – simply because of their seniority.

This seniority however can often be a trap.

You get so comfortable in the confidence that you know everything.

Upgrading your processes or messaging or website seems like a bad idea.

Why go fixing something that isn’t broken?

Well, if it wasn’t broken, then maybe

– the P&L statements would not be looking so sad right now…

– your client retention would still be like the good old days…

– external investors or worse, buyers would not come knocking…

BUT

What if you updated and upgraded yourself now?

What if you got on board with a new business process system?

What if you saved your energy and simply adapted to a proven business system, messaging, and website that works?

What if in the end, it only improved the level and reach of service you are here to offer?

What if you touched more lives that you ever thought was possible?

What if it was worth going through this uncomfortable but rewarding upgrade because it helped you help more people?

I’d like to think the answer to that is yes.
