People see others doing online workshops and webinars and think, “Oooh, what a great strategy! I am going to do that too.”

STOP!

Wait a second.

You only see a tiny part of the strategy behind that webinar and let me tell you a secret…
It’s NEVER a direct path to a sale.

Sure, the Marie Forleos and Amy Porterfields book their clients that way.
But the marketing engine that drives those conversions?
They are like high speed trains.

You and I my friend, are riding tiny bikes in comparison.

And our marketing must match that.

Pedal along, pushing with one foot after another.

So our strategies must also be simple.
Like riding a bike.

Which I only learned at age 15 btw. Shout out to Chris Reid for helping a wobbly teenager learn to ride a bike. 🫶🏽

I digress. Back to marketing your therapy or coaching business.

Yesterday, I ran my first online workshop! 😆

I’ve taught Atma Kriya Yoga workshops all over the world but teaching about Personal Branding?

Ooooweee, that brought up fears I didn’t even know I had.

The pressure to sell, to recruit, and deliver value at the same time… I mean how the heck does Amy Porterfield do it!?

So in order to protect myself from a nervous breakdown, I dropped all the pressure except for to deliver value.

I threw away the 60 slide presentation I had built and created a simple Google doc instead packed with real value.

I’m talking about my exact templates that I use for writing insanely credible one-liners and introductions for myself and my clients.

And Canva templates that I designed that people can copy and paste into their LinkedIn to upgrade their personal brand.

Plus real email scripts to reach out to your warm network and tell them to send clients you way.

And you know what happened?

I was 1000% full of joy AND focus when I delivered this workshop.

I created time to work with the participants on the spot and write their one-liners for them.

They walked away tangible assets they can use instantly – all designed to turn conversations into discovery calls and clients.

I’m not pulling an Amy here (can you tell that I’m obsessed with her?) and expecting that the participants will turn into clients.

What was promised in the workshop was fully delivered, and then some.

Frankly, that’s enough.

I’ll keep riding my little bike, getting more confident and not pretend that I’m the engineer driving a high-speed train.

I’m a late bloomer anyway.

And help people one by one… earn my clients one by one with real conversations… and keep teaching.

👉 Want to catch the replay of this transformational workshop? You can do that here.

What’s one thing you learned way too late in life, like me learning to bike at 15? Please tell me I’m not the only late bloomer here? 😅
